SnapProof Pro Cookie Policy
Last Updated: April 25, 2026
Like many companies, SnapProof Pro uses cookies and other similar tracking technologies on our websites and applications. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.
This Cookie Policy supplements our Privacy Policy. For more information about how we collect, use, and share Personal Information generally, please review the Privacy Policy.
What Are Cookies? How Do We Use Technology in the Services?
A cookie is a small text file that is saved onto your device when you use one of our websites or applications. A cookie can either be a "session" cookie or a "persistent" cookie. Session cookies exist only for so long as you are visiting the website and are typically deleted when you exit your web browser. Each time you visit a website that has implemented a persistent cookie, the persistent cookie is renewed, and that cookie will remain active until its predetermined expiration date.
Cookies set by us, the website operator, are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by our third-party partners are called "third-party cookies." Third-party cookies enable third-party features or functionality to be provided on or through our websites (for example, analytics or authentication). The parties that set these third-party cookies can recognize your device both when it visits our websites and may also recognize your device when you visit other websites that use the same third-party services.
What About Other Tracking Technologies?
Cookies are not the only technology used on our websites. We may also use similar technologies such as web beacons, tracking pixels, and local storage (collectively with cookies, "Cookies"). These are tiny graphic files or browser-storage entries that contain a unique identifier and enable us to recognize when someone has visited our websites or used our applications. In many cases these technologies rely on cookies to function properly, so declining cookies will impair their function.
How Does SnapProof Pro Use Cookies?
We use Cookies on our marketing website (snapproofpro.com) and our application (app.snapproofpro.com) for a small, focused set of purposes:
- To keep you signed in. Our application uses cookies to remember that you've logged in so you don't have to re-enter credentials on every page.
- To process payments securely. Our payment processor sets cookies during checkout to detect fraud and complete the transaction.
- To understand how our site is used. We use analytics cookies to learn which pages people visit, how they got there, and which features they use, so we can improve the product.
- To deliver the application reliably. Our hosting and tag-management infrastructure use cookies to route requests, balance load, and ensure the site behaves correctly.
We do not currently use Cookies for cross-site advertising or remarketing. We do not place Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, X (Twitter) tracking, or similar advertising pixels on our websites at this time. If we add such tools in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and, where required, request your consent.
Categories of Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential to provide the Services. Without them, the application cannot function. They cannot be disabled through our preference settings.
- Authentication and session cookies (Supabase). Used by app.snapproofpro.com to keep you signed in to your account and to protect against cross-site request forgery. Set by Supabase, our authentication and database provider.
- Checkout and fraud-prevention cookies (Stripe). Used during the subscription checkout process to securely complete payments and detect fraudulent activity. Set by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe's cookie practices are described in Stripe's Cookie Policy.
Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors and customers use our Services so we can improve them. The information collected is generally aggregated and does not directly identify you.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4). We use Google Analytics on both snapproofpro.com (marketing) and app.snapproofpro.com (application) to measure traffic, page views, feature usage, and conversion events. GA4 sets cookies including `_ga` and `_ga_
`. To prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visit, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. - Google Tag Manager (GTM). We use Google Tag Manager to deploy and manage analytics tags. GTM itself does not set tracking cookies but loads the analytics tags described above.
Functional and Performance Cookies
- Hosting and CDN cookies (Vercel). Our marketing website and application are hosted on Vercel. Vercel may set cookies to route requests, balance load, and serve cached content efficiently.
How to Manage Your Cookies
You have several ways to manage cookies on our Services:
Through your browser. Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change your settings to refuse them or to alert you when a cookie is being placed. Each browser handles this differently — search your browser's help documentation for "manage cookies." Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or completing checkout.
Opt out of Google Analytics. Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits across all sites that use it.
Global Privacy Control (GPC). Our application honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where required by law. If your browser sends GPC, we treat that as an opt-out request for any sale or share of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (we do not currently engage in such activity, but we honor the signal regardless).
Mobile devices. On mobile devices, you can typically reset or disable advertising identifiers through your device's privacy settings.
Disabling cookies may impair the functionality of the Services. For example, you may not be able to remain signed in to the application, or some pages may not display correctly.
Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as we add or remove tools, or as legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the updated Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
